Montagne-Saint-Emilion
Several appellation bordering Saint-Emilion are allowed to take use the name of their famous neighbor.
They are known as Saint Emilion Satellites… All of them are located in the northeast of the town in a region full of charm, punctuated by hills and rich of many historic houses, chateaux and churches. Soils and grapes as many of other appellations on the right bank are pretty much the same than in Saint Emilion.
